IICA Certified Mediator Program (ICMP) is a 60+ hours comprehensive and practical training on mediation and negotiation. Consisting of 12 modules, the mediation training program is delivered in three formats - fully online (3 months), fully in-person (6 days) and hybrid (mostly online with weekend campus immersion). The faculty consists of global mediation and negotiation experts drawn from academia and practice. The heterogeneous group of participants facilitates peer learning and formation of a holistic perspective of interdisciplinary mediation related issues.
The goal of this programme is to provide the fundamental knowledge and abilities required to work as a professional mediator. This programme uses intensive role plays, live sessions, instructor-led training, self-study material, and mediation simulations to focus on both the theoretical and practical components of mediation. Following completion, the delegate must pass a qualification exam that evaluates their theoretical background and mediation abilities. The delegate will receive the qualification of "IICA Certified Mediator" upon clearing the qualifying exam.
