In state of Uttarakhand total 50 advocates are providing pro bono legal services to the marginalized section of the society.

Uttarakhand, known for its natural beauty and cultural heritage, also prioritizes ensuring access to justice for all its residents through its free legal aid services. One distinctive aspect of Uttarakhand's legal aid system is its focus on reaching remote and rural areas, where access to legal assistance may be limited. To address the geographical challenges of Uttarakhand's terrain, the state has established The Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority (USLSA) which works in collaboration with district legal services authorities, NGOs, bar associations, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of legal aid services.
