In the state of Bihar 500+ advocates and para legal volunteers are providing pro bono legal services to the marginalized section of the society.

Bihar's legal aid system, with the active involvement of PLVs and advocates, is designed to ensure that all residents have access to justice and legal assistance when needed. These initiatives reflect a commitment to promoting inclusivity, fairness, and the rule of law in the state. 

1. Special Initiatives for Women, Children, and Vulnerable Groups: Bihar has launched special legal aid programs targeting women, children, and other vulnerable groups. These initiatives focus on providing legal support, counseling, and rehabilitation services tailored to the specific needs of these groups. 

2. Legal Literacy Programs: Bihar conducts legal literacy programs and workshops to educate people about their legal rights and obligations. PLVs often play a significant role in organizing and conducting these programs, reaching out to communities in need of legal awareness.
